It doesn’t get bigger than the Grammys when it comes to awarding the very best in the music industry. And when the stars come down, you can only expect the finest in style and fashion. And they went above and beyond our expectations. Here are a few of the stunners and flops of the grand evening.
Laverne Cox - The actress looked like a million bucks on the red carpet in a leather dress that was held on the sides by just chain links. She still managed to look elegant and even admitted to enjoying how she looked, and we can see why!
Chrissy Teigen - It's no secret that sheer is in and no one does sheer better than Chrissy Teigen. In this laced up black gown with cutouts in all the right places, Chrissy looked like the personification of sexy and was complimented perfectly by her husband John Legend.
Adele - Adele didn't just win a massive amount of awards this year, but also stole our hearts on the red carpet. The green Givenchy gown made her glow and the detailing on the skirt paired with the checkered design on the bust were just the icing on the cake.
Beyonce - Although the queen didn't make an appearance on the red carpet, her outfit for her performance left everyone stunned. The gold beaded gown and the crown paired with her growing baby bump made her look like the radiant sun goddess she is. She also later changed into a red gown with a plunging neckline accessorised with a chunky diamond necklace.
Katy Perry - Where do we begin with this outfit. The turtleneck with the drop waist looks ill-fitting and the combination of sequins and feather created a strange effect. Although Katy Perry is known for her bold fashion choices, this new subdued look didn't work for her.
Joy Villa - In a time when artists are making a point to speak out against the Trump presidency and the hatred that comes with it, Joy Villa chose the Grammys red carpet to grab some eyeballs. She dressed in 'Make America Great Again' gown that also had TRUMP written on the back. It was definitely not a cute look.
